Abrams’ “Lost” had an almost completely different cast
Tale
Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island… J.J. See which A-listers were lost to one of the most popular TV shows of all time. The character of Sawyer was originally supposed to be an older, smooth-talking city hustler from Buffalo, NY.
[repeated line] Desmond Hume: See you in another life, brother
But when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and cursed loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the Sawyer character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even allowed to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare circumstances…
Adapted for Lost: The Journey (2005)
The strange opening credits were designed by J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white as an homage to the Twilight Zone.. Lost is without a doubt one of the best TV series I’ve ever seen. What can be said about this amazing show that hasn’t already been said.
I will never understand why people give a show a low rating just because the ending wasn’t great
If you’re reading any list of the best shows of all time, I guarantee you Lost will be on that list. The only thing I would recommend is not doing anything else while watching this show, but paying full attention, because there are so many twists, Easter eggs, and little details that you’ll miss if you’re not paying attention. The ending wasn’t as good as people had hoped, but that doesn’t take away from the 6 seasons and 120 episodes that preceded it. Lost was on for 6 years and over 120 hours of TV that you enjoyed, a few bad moments at the end don’t take away all the time you loved.
I didn’t even think the ending was that bad, it just could have been better
Of course it would be better if the ending was as great as the show, but when a show is as good as Lost, it’s hard to please all the fans. But overall, Lost is one of the best TV shows of all time and you have to watch it.
